Snowmaking: New Norm

Snowmaking: New Norm
February 08, 2017

We have been paying close attention to the forecast and are excited to have natural snow falling again today, accompanied by temps dipping back down into good snowmaking range tonight and tomorrow night to allow for our crew to get back to work. We’re happy to say you will be able to ski a fresh blanket of snow beginning in the morning!

Tubing only will be unavailable Thursday, February 9th only to allow for additional snowmaking and complete tubing lane rebuild, just in-time to re-open for Glow Tubing! During this snowmaking campaign, find the latest conditions, trail, lift, and park availability here> Snow Trails Snow Report

It has been quite the ride again this season. Oddly enough we've gotten used to the new norm for when to make snow, because it is an easy decision for us - never waste a snowmaking opportunity even in mid-season!

As we get later into February we will begin to back-off, but not until we build our base of snow back-up to take us into March. We are dedicated to bringing you the best possible conditions for a fun winter experience skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing out here at Snow Trails.

Another fun weekend is on-tap with Glow Tubing, Late Night, Standard Races, Demo Day, and Live Entertainment Friday and Saturday!
