Can I buy Snowtubing tickets ahead of time?
Yes. New for the 2017-2018 season is the ability to buy tickets online. Tickets will be available online 6 days before the date of arrival. Tickets cannot be purchased ahead of time at the ticket window
Do I need my own tube?
A. No. We supply the tubes. We have adult and kid sizes including double tube. One person per tube.
Can my child ride down the hill in my lap?
A. No. One person per tube but we have child sized tubes and you can hold onto other tubes with the supplied handles.
What is the youngest age you recommend for snowtubing?
A. The minimum age for tubing participation is at the discretion of the parent or guardian. Only one person per tube but you can hold on another tube with supplied handles. It is not uncommon for even two to three year old kids to enjoy a day in the park!
Does anyone ever fall out of a tube?
A. It can happen...but infrequently.
Can I buy an all-day ticket for tubing?
No. Tickets are for two hours but and "extra hour" can be purchased at a discounted rate afterwards if tubes are available . We also offer a season pass for unlimited tubing any day the park is open.
Can I buy a skiing/tubing combination ticket?
No. They must be purchased separately. Season passes for skiing and snowboarding have the ability to add on a snowtubing season pass for nominal fee.
Do you ever sell out of tubes?
A. Yes. During Peak Days and when mother nature has everyone thinking snow! Our popular Glowtubing Events often sell out too. Buy online as soon as tickets go on sale.
Why isn’t the Tubing Park open on school snow days?
A. Great question! School cancelations due to snow usually come at the last minute and since we are not open through the week when school is in session we don't have staff available to work just for a few days when schools close due to weather.
Is there a place to watch if you are not tubing?
A. Yes. We have a Snowtubing Lodge with a snack bar and shared seating as well as a well lit patio, bench seats, picnic tables and a fire pit.
What kind of clothing should I wear?
A. Dress the same way you would for a day of sled riding. Boots, gloves, hats and warm layer clothing you can remove if you start to get warm.
Do you need a helmet to tube?
A. No, but if chose to wear one we wouldn't stop you!
What kind of food is available?
We have a Snowtubing Lodge directly at the Snowtubing Area that has snack bar with warm beverages, snacks candies and basic foods like hot dogs and pretzels. Just a short walk away in the Main Lodge is Joe's Place a full service cafeteria as well as the Last Run & Deli.
Is the snow on your hill real or fake?
A. It's real snow but it may very well be man-made. Same science applies to man-made snow as real snow but we have some amazing technology to help make it efficiently when temperatures are favorable.
Do I need experience as I’m not athletic?
A. None! All we ask is that you be able to get into and exit the snowtube under your own power. From toddlers to grandparents we have guests of all ages and abilities enjoy the slopes.
Are there weight restrictions?
A. Most likely because we can make our own when conditions are favorable and mother nature is not helping. Please visit our SNOW REPORT at the top of the website for current status of our conditions and facilities.
Do you have bathrooms?
A. Yes, located in our Snowtubing Lodge at the base of the snowtubing slope.
Can I bring my own food and beverage?
A. Yes but it must be consumed either at your vehicle or in our Picnic Area located in the designated area of our Main Lodge which is away from the Snowtubing area. The Snowtubing Lodge located at the base of the Snowtubing area is only available for dining with those who have purchased food at the Snack Bar.
Do you do birthday parties?
We do not offer a designated area for private or reserved space at our Snowtubing facility for such a need, but that's not to say we don't have parties, clubs, businesses and groups join us daily for their special day. There is a designated area called the Picnic Area in the Main Lodge (away from Snowtubing) where people may bring their own food but tables may not be reserved and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Special pricing is available for groups of 15 or more. Visit our Group Discount page for more information.
We can open anywhere from the day after Thanksgiving to around the New Year depending on Mother Nature! We ask that join our Newsletter or check to our our Snow Report for the latest information when conditions are favorable. Once we can start making snow it's often only days before we are ready to open!
