Season Pass and Area Ski LIft Ticket Terms & Conditions
By purchasing and using your pass or area lift ticket, you agree to the Snow Trails terms and conditions and assume the risks as specified.
Applications for season passes are made with the explicit assumption of risk by the individual or individuals requesting same and applicant acknowledges that skiing or snowboarding is subject to skiing/snowboarding contract which releases Snow Trails for injury to person or property. The pass cannot be resold. Re-selling or allowing another person to use your pass constitutes theft of services under Ohio criminal law. The pass shall remain the property of Snow Trails. Snow Trails is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets and may void a ticket for inappropriate conduct by the holder. Be familiar with the skiers and snowboarders Your Responsibility Code. The holder is subject to all rules and regulations in effect at Snow Trails. The holder is not entitled to any special privileges or exceptions and must obey all rules. Snow Trails assumes no responsibility for unauthorized use of holder's pass. Snow Trails has sole discretion and final say in honoring any special programs or offers. Prices are subject to change at any time.
SEASON PASS SPECIFICS
Gold Family passes are the only "direct-to-the-slopes" passes at Snow Trails. A Gold Primary pass must be purchased to qualify for the additional family discounted passes. Gold passes must be visible at all times. All other passes require daily tickets be issued at the Guest Service desk upon presentation of photo id each visit. Tickets must be worn properly attached to outer garment between waist and neck and not on hats, gloves, boots or goggles. If Gold pass or any other pass is forgotten, pass holder may sign for a lift ticket only once per season with proper identification without a replacement fee. A week is defined as a seven day period beginning at opening on Sunday and ending at close on the following Saturday, for those passes based on week.
AREA LIFT USAGE
You must have a valid lift ticket to use the outdoor facilities. I understand and accept all terms and conditions at the place this ticket was issued and realize I am bound by them as a condition of using this ticket and any facilities of this ski area. I accept that I will be exposed to inherent and other risks and dangers that cause serious injury or death. I therefore agree to accept full responsibility for any and all injuries or property damage and agree to make no claim against the ski area or any of its owners or employees for any injury or harm to me regardless of cause. I agree that any use of this ticket or facilities confirms absolutely my agreement to be bound by all these terms and others posted, whether I obtained this ticket myself or it was provided to me by someone else. I hereby grant Ohio Ski Slopes, Inc permission to use my picture in promotional literature. I understand management reserves the right to publish these photos and no compensation will be given to subjects.
If you have ski or snowboard equipment, it must have metal edges and skis must have proper run-away retention devices for safety reasons. If you are not sure if your equipment complies with current industry standards, we recommend having your equipment examined by a trained professional. Our Ski Patrol or the Ski Shop would be the place to go for this. Discount store "toy" snowboards, sleds, snow decks or snow skates or similar products of this kind are not permitted. Snow Bikes and other types of riding equipment are not permitted. Only adaptive skiers can use non-standard equipment at the area and must be approved in advance by Snow Trails management.
You are responsible for your own equipment and personal belongings. Snow Trails is not responsible for lost or stolen property or equipment. Ski check and lockers are available. In the event of loss or theft a pass, holder must notify Snow Trails. There will be a charge of $25.00 if pass is lost or stolen and holder wishes to replace it.
BE Aware. SKI WITH CARE.
Patrollers are on duty to assist you, at no charge. Your safety and first aid is their primary concern. All injuries must be reported. For more information, check out our Patrol Safety area at www.snowtrails.com. The use of helmets or wrist guards may reduce the risk of injury. Whether or not to wear a helmet or other safety devices is a personal choice. Make sure to check into all available options. You are advised to familiarize yourself with the content of the Responsibility Code so as to become more aware of the elements of risk involved in the sport of skiing. The Code is available on www.snowtrails.com, at the Resort, and in our brochures. Violations of Your Responsibility Code, and Snow Trails' rules, ordinances and/or guidelines may result in criminal prosecution, civil liability and/or loss of lift privileges without compensation or refund. Applicant acknowledges that skiing is subject to a skiing/snowboarding contract, which releases Snow Trails for injury to person or property. Please observe all signs posted!
MEMBER ASSUMPTION OF RISKS
I agree and understand that use of this pass is a purely voluntary, recreational activity and that if I am not willing to acknowledge the risks, I should not purchase or use this pass.
I agree and understand that the staff or management reserves the right to revoke my season pass, without refund, at their discretion for any of the following reasons: misconduct, abuse of privileges, violation of the rules, or any other reason they deem necessary. Management reserves the right and has the obligation to enforce the Rules of the Slopes, as well as Ohio Safety in Skiing Law and Ohio Liquor Laws.
I agree to follow all Responsibility Code rules, and I understand skiing is a hazardous sport, and has many inherent and other risks. I understand that ice, variations in terrain, moguls, rocks, forest growth, and debris, lift towers, snowmaking equipment and other natural and man-made obstacles and hazards, including other skiers, exist throughout the area. I am aware that snowmaking, snow grooming, maintenance and other activities may be in the process at any time, and I agree to stay clear of this equipment. I agree to ski in control at all times. I agree to accept full responsibility for any and all injuries or property damage and I agree to make no claim against the ski area or any of its owners or employees for any injury or harm to me regardless of cause. I agree that any use of this season program or facility confirms absolutely my agreement to be bound by all these terms, and others posted, whether I obtained this season program myself or it was provided to me by someone else.
I agree that any claim which I may at any time bring for any reason against Snow Trails or any of its agents, officers, directors, owners, servants, and employees or any disputes arising out of its purchase and use of this season program, or the use of Snow Trails facilities, shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the State or Federal Court in the State of Ohio, and that no claim or action shall be brought in any other jurisdiction.
PASS REFUND OPTION POLICY TERMS & CONDITIONS
The Refund Option is those who may want their money back (no credit).
Subject to the refund calculation, Snow Trails will refund based on the following conditions:
The Refund Option must be purchased concurrently with that season's Season Pass.
The Refund Option commences with the purchase of a Season Pass and selection of the Pass Refund Option.
Notification of non use should be given to Snow Trails ASAP for maximum credit.
All refunds are final.
The Pass Refund Option price is non-refundable under any circumstances and excludes Add-On Options.
Once a Pass is picked up a prorated value will be determined one of two ways including:
Gold Passes: 10% of the Value will be deducted for each week starting Kick-Off Weekend. (usually 2nd weekend in December).
Other Pass: All non-Gold Season Pass refunds will be based on the number of times a scanable pass has been used multiplied by the All Day Peak Day lift ticket rate.
Refund requests will not be accepted after March 31st of each season.

All refunds are final and subject to Snow Trails discretion and approval.
CANCELLATIONS WITHOUT PASS REFUND OPTION
A person may receive a credit (no refund) for their Season Pass if unable to ski/ride due to medical/relocation reasons.
For those passes not picked up 10% of the value will be ducted each week starting Kick Off Weekend (usually 2nd weekend of December) until that value is at $0 by the end of February.
For those who picked up their Season Pass a credit will be based on the number of times a scannable pass has been used multiplied by the All Day Peak Day lift ticket rate and then the 10% per week policy is applied on top of that so that by the end of February the value is $0.
All refunds are final and subject to Snow Trails discretion and approval.
