Cooler nighttime temps have already set-in, kids are back to school, and Fall activities are in full-swing. This is when the anticipation begins to build for us all! We are looking forward to the coming Winter Season with you! The weather forecasters are starting to kick around the idea of colder and drier - we’ll take it - considering we will provide the moisture needed for snowmaking just as long as we have cooler temps we are good to go! Generally snowmaking begins anytime around Thanksgiving if temps permit. Please stay with us this Pre-Season and keep an eye on our Calendar to join us for Events leading-up to our 65th Season of 2025-’26.

Cold Snap, Snowmaking, and Events, All For Holiday Weekend!

January 12, 2012

The latest cold snap, and well awaited natural snowfall, has positioned its self perfectly, making it possible for Snow Trails to blanket all Slopes and Tubing Park lanes with quality snow! We will continue to make snow throughout the day, on slopes that are not yet available, pushing closer to opening 100% of our trails! Keep checking the Snow Trails Snow Report for details and our Snow Trails Web Cams to build your excitement!

This Saturday, join us on the Competition slope race course for the first of our Giant Slalom races of the season, open to all and only $5 to enter! If racing isn't  your thing, perhaps our K2 Party In The Park is? This fun for all jam session will take place in The Woods Terrain Park on the West Woods trail and only costs $5 to enter, plus get perks. All spectators are welcome!

Make plans to stick around Saturday night, as 99.7 The Blitz stops by for our 7th Annual Rock-N-Ride at Snow Trails! Ronni Hunter from The Blitz will play host in The Snowflake Loft and Fat Dog Band will be on-stage at 9PM!

We will hold Special Holiday Hours & Rates on the Slopes and in the Tubing Park, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, January 16th.

We hope you can join us for this fantastic weekend!!
