Tubing Opens For The Season, More Snowmaking, And Kick-Off Party To Celebrate!
It has been a great start to the Season with cool temps to make and maintain snow here in the valley. As you know, it might be a bit too comfortable skiing today. Not that you have to freeze to have fun on snow, just cooler temps sure help keep the snow pristine. Ohio is impacted by Low pressure fronts, sweeping up and across the state today, allowing warm air out of the South to soften conditions. Not to worry, we still have a deep base of snow for skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing! Plus, based on the dip back down in temps, our Snowmaking Crew already has plans to fire-up our Snowmaking System during early morning hours Friday, running around the clock into Saturday AM. We will have the slopes ready for you to enjoy a fantastic Weekend Skiing, Snowboarding, and Snow Tubing with us!
Also, Vertical Descent Tubing Park will be ready for you to hoot-n-holler your way down on a snow tube beginning for the Season today Thursday, December 18th at 5PM.
All Lift Tickets and Tubing Tickets for December through February are now available for Bookings required in advance online. Please plan ahead. You will need to check-in at our Ticket Window or Guest Services to redeem for a printed Daily Lift Ticket. If you need equipment rentals and you purchased as a package you will check-in at our Rental Center. Your equipment rental includes skis, boots, and poles or snowboards and boots, plus based on availability you can rent a helmet at check-in. If you would like to have your own or need other gear, you can check-out the full selection for yourself in our Snow Trails Ski Shop or someone on your list who we know will be calling you the best gift giver - if you come away with something for them!
This December has us ready to dance it out! Get ready for our Kick-Off Party w/LDNL Band this Saturday, December 20th in The Snowflake Loft, plus the full line-up of Live Entertainment for this Season.
We will hold Peak Days* Dec. 20th- Jan. 4th on the Slopes and in our Tubing Park. Offering full operations, serving you Food and Beverages, Snow Sports Lessons and Children’s Programs, Ski Shop Gear, Apparel, and Full Technical Services, Guest Services to assist you, and everything in-between.
