    It was another great Winter Season with you! The snow conditions were prime, thanks to temps dipping and staying well below freezing for extended weeks throughout the Season. We were happy to have each of you join us for Skiing, Snowboarding, and Snow Tubing good times across the Resort! We are looking forward to our 66th Season of 2026-'27 with you!

Terms, Conditions & Facility Policies

Snow Trails

Effective date: October 2, 2026

1. General Terms and Applicability

By purchasing, receiving, or using a Snow Trails Season Pass, Area Lift Ticket, Snow Tubing Ticket, reservation, program product, or facility, the guest agrees to the applicable Snow Trails terms, policies, posted rules, and safety requirements. Skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, lift use, and other resort activities involve inherent and other risks.

  • Season Passes and tickets remain subject to Snow Trails rules and may be voided or privileges revoked for misuse, misconduct, abuse of privileges, or violation of applicable rules.
  • Snow Trails has sole discretion in administering special programs, offers, discounts, credits, and exceptions. Prices and product availability are subject to change.
  • Guests are responsible for reviewing posted rules and the Snow Trails Responsibility Code before participating.

2. Season Pass Terms

  • Season Passes are valid from the opening of the season through the conclusion of that season and have no blackout dates unless otherwise stated for the specific pass product.
  • Season Passes are photo identification and may be used only by the person named on the pass and shown in the photo. Passes may not be shared or resold. Any transfer must be specifically approved and processed by Snow Trails staff and may require up to 24 hours.
  • Most Season Passes require the passholder to obtain an Area Lift Ticket for each visit. Gold Passes are direct-to-the-slopes passes and include additional benefits as described with the product.
  • Season Passes do not require advance reservations. Passholders who require a daily Area Lift Ticket may redeem it at Guest Services, the Ticket Window, or Rental Center.
  • Only one Area Lift Ticket per day may be redeemed from a Season Pass that requires a daily ticket.
  • For Once-A-Week Passes, a new week begins each Sunday. Missed weeks do not roll over and do not generate credit.

Gold Passes

  • Gold Passes must be visible while in use and are the only direct-to-the-slopes Season Passes at Snow Trails.
  • A Gold Primary Pass is required to qualify for additional discounted Gold family passes.
  • Gold Benefits are assigned to the Gold Primary Pass and may be redeemed online or at Guest Services, Rental Center or the Tubing Ticket Office, as applicable.

Other Season Passes

  • Standard, Student, Senior, and other non-Gold passes require the passholder to obtain a daily Area Lift Ticket upon presentation of photo identification. Tickets must be properly attached to outer clothing between the waist and neck and may not be attached to hats, gloves, boots, or goggles. Older Area Lift Tickets MUST Be removed before applying the new Area Lift Ticket.

3. Season Pass Refunds and Credits

  • Season Passes are non-refundable unless the Pass Refund Option was purchased at the same time as the individual Season Pass.
  • With the Pass Refund Option, an unused pass may be eligible for a 100% refund; a used pass may be eligible for a prorated refund under the published refund calculation.
  • Prorated refunds are based on the number of times the scannable pass was used multiplied by the regular Peak Day All Day Area Lift Ticket rate.
  • The Pass Refund Option price is non-refundable and does not apply to Add-On Options.
  • Refund and credit requests must be submitted no later than March 31. All requests are subject to Snow Trails review, discretion, and approval, and approved refunds are final.
  • Credit may be considered for passes that were not picked up. If a pass was picked up, Snow Trails may review usage to determine whether any credit can be applied.

4. Daily Skiing and Snowboarding Lift Tickets

  • Online purchases are non-refundable except as otherwise provided under the Reservation Change/Credit policy or if Snow Trails closes the facility and issues refunds.
  • Reservations may be transferred to another person before arrival with Snow Trails assistance.
  • Tickets may not be purchased and resold by a business, club, or group, whether for-profit or non-profit, without Snow Trails’ express written consent. Personal transactions are permitted at or below face value.
  • Discounts cannot be applied retroactively to online purchases. Group discounts must be arranged with Guest Services prior to arrival and are subject to limited dates, times, and availability.
  • Acceptance of the applicable online waiver is required for each participant.

5. Snow Tubing Daily Tickets

  • Online purchases are non-refundable except if Snow Trails closes the facility and issues refunds.
  • Reservations may be transferred to another person with Snow Trails assistance.
  • Tickets may not be purchased and resold by a business, club, or group, whether for-profit or non-profit, without Snow Trails’ express written consent. Personal transactions are permitted at or below face value.
  • Snow Tubing may continue during rain, snow, very cold temperatures, or unseasonably warm temperatures. Guests should confirm operating status before arrival.
  • If a tubing session is temporarily interrupted by lightning, rain checks may be issued for affected sessions. Sessions cannot be moved later when doing so would affect subsequent bookings.
  • Group discounts must be arranged with Guest Services for select weekday and evenings private sessions.
  • A signed printed waiver is required for each participant. A downloadable waiver link is provided with the purchase confirmation.

6. Reservation Changes and eVoucher Credits

This policy currently applies to products including, but not limited to, Snow Tubing Daily Tickets, Skiing and Snowboarding Daily Lift Tickets, Let’s Get Started Packages, and Children’s Learning Center reservations.

  • Snow Trails may issue credit in the form of an electronic voucher (eVoucher) when a guest needs to change a reservation.
  • At least 24 hours’ advance notice is required for an eVoucher credit request. Requests submitted within 24 hours of the reservation, or after the reservation date and time, may be denied based on ticket demand and management review.
  • Once approved and assigned to the guest’s eStore account, eVouchers are valid for 400 days from the date of assignment.
  • Reservation change requests are currently submitted through www.snowtrails.com/change.

7. Lift Access, Equipment and Facility Use

  • A valid lift ticket or applicable direct-to-slopes pass is required to use outdoor skiing and snowboarding facilities. Older Area Lift Tickets MUST Be removed before applying the new Area Lift Ticket.
  • Skis and snowboards must have metal edges. Skis must have appropriate runaway-retention devices.
  • Guests who are unsure whether equipment meets current standards should have it inspected by a qualified professional, Ski Patrol, Rental Staff or the Ski Shop.
  • Discount-store “toy” snowboards, sleds, snow decks, snow skates, and similar products are not permitted.
  • Snow bikes and other non-standard riding equipment are not permitted. Adaptive participants may use approved non-standard equipment with advance Snow Trails management approval.

8. Personal Property, Clothing and Equipment

  • Guests are responsible for their own equipment and personal belongings. Snow Trails is not responsible for lost or stolen property or equipment. Ski check and lockers are available.
  • A lost or stolen Season Pass should be reported to Snow Trails. The current public policy lists a $5 replacement charge.
  • Lift machinery is regularly maintained with oil and grease. Weather and operating conditions may occasionally cause grease, oil, or other lubricants to contact clothing or equipment near or on lifts. This is an inherent risk of lift use and Snow Trails is not responsible for such contact.
  • Snow Trails’ is not responsible for damage to clothing, equipment, backpacks, or similar personal items caused by contact with lift chairs, tow ropes, terrain-park features, lane ropes, or similar resort equipment or features.

9. Dog and Service Animal Policy

  • Dogs are permitted on designated outdoor grounds while leashed, including the mall area, base-area snow, patios, parking lots, and grass areas.
  • Dogs are not permitted inside buildings unless they are service animals trained to perform a specific task.
  • Dogs are not permitted on chairlifts or slopes.
  • Owners must clean up after their dogs. Failure to follow the policy may result in removal from the premises without refund.

10. Safety, Responsibility and Assumption of Risk

Snow Trails Ski Patrol is available to assist guests, and all injuries should be reported. Guests are expected to follow posted signs, Snow Trails rules, the Responsibility Code, applicable Ohio safety laws, and instructions from Snow Trails staff.

  • Skiing and snowboarding are hazardous recreational activities with inherent and other risks, including ice, changes in terrain, moguls, rocks, forest growth and debris, lift towers, snowmaking equipment, natural and man-made obstacles, other skiers and riders, and ongoing snowmaking, grooming, maintenance, or other resort operations.
  • Guests are expected to remain in control, stay clear of operating equipment, and accept responsibility for the risks associated with participation.
  • Helmet and wrist-guard use may reduce certain risks of injury. Guests should evaluate available protective equipment and make their own decisions regarding its use.
  • Violations of the Responsibility Code, Snow Trails rules, ordinances, or guidelines may result in loss of privileges without compensation or refund and may also carry civil or criminal consequences where applicable.

Assumption-of-Risk & Conditions of Use

Use of any Snow Trails Season Pass, program, activity, or facility is voluntary and recreational. Participation and use of Snow Trails facilities constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of the risks associated with skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, and other winter recreational activities.

Snow Trails management reserves the right to revoke a Season Pass or other privileges, without refund, for misconduct, abuse of privileges, violation of Snow Trails rules or policies, or other circumstances management determines warrant such action. Snow Trails reserves the right and has the responsibility to enforce its Rules of the Slopes, the Ohio Safety in Skiing Law, Ohio liquor laws, and other applicable rules and regulations.

All guests are required to follow the Responsibility Code and all posted rules, warnings, signs, and instructions. Skiing and snowboarding involve inherent and other risks, including, but not limited to, ice, changing snow and terrain conditions, moguls, rocks, forest growth, debris, lift towers, snowmaking equipment, grooming equipment, natural and man-made obstacles, and collisions with other skiers, snowboarders, guests, or objects.

Snowmaking, grooming, maintenance, and other operational activities may occur throughout the ski area at any time. Guests are required to remain clear of operating equipment and work areas and to ski or ride in control at all times.

Guests assume responsibility for the risks associated with participation and for injuries or property damage arising from those risks. Use of a Season Pass, participation in a Snow Trails program, or use of Snow Trails facilities constitutes acceptance of these terms and all other applicable Snow Trails rules and policies, whether the pass, ticket, or program participation was purchased by the guest or provided by another person.

Any claim or dispute arising from the purchase or use of a Snow Trails Season Pass or program, participation in Snow Trails activities, or use of Snow Trails facilities involving Snow Trails or its agents, officers, directors, owners, servants, or employees shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate state or federal courts located in the State of Ohio. Such claims or actions shall not be brought in another jurisdiction.

11. Photography and Promotional Use

  • The current Facility Policies state that guests grant Ohio Ski Slopes, Inc. permission to use their image in promotional literature without compensation. Management reserves the right to publish such photographs.

12. Enforcement and Jurisdiction

  • Snow Trails management reserves the right to revoke a Season Pass or other privileges, without refund, for misconduct, abuse of privileges, violation of rules, or other reasons management determines require enforcement action.
  • Snow Trails management may enforce resort rules, the Rules of the Slopes, Ohio Safety in Skiing Law, Ohio liquor laws, and other applicable requirements.
  • The current policy states that claims or disputes arising from the purchase or use of a Season Pass or Snow Trails facilities are subject to the jurisdiction of state or federal courts in Ohio.
