Early December snow is always amazing and builds the excitement for Opening Day! We know you are eager to get on the slopes, and we are right here with you. Opening Day is still to be determined.

Our #STSnowmaking Campaign is running whenever conditions allow, with some around-the-clock like today. However, with temps often hovering around 30°F during many day parts, building a substantial base takes time, and recent heavy natural snow doesn’t add as much as you might expect once it’s packed and groomed. Natural snow that packs well is wet and better suited for building snowmen, rather than the building the base across the slopes - albeit we love a good snowman!

Another factor to consider is once we open, we prioritize guest comfort by avoiding snowmaking on open trails whenever we can. Sometimes short snowmaking windows force our hand, but if we have the choice our focus is on Pre-Season snowmaking as opposed to constantly cranking the system while you are on the slopes. Thanks for your patience and support.

Christmas- Closed for the day

With everyone busy wrapping (all the Dad's out there doing last minute stuff) and unwrapping all those presents, Snow Trails will be closed for Christmas Day. Reopening Slopes again on December 26th at 9AM> Snow Trails Peak Days
