Cooler nighttime temps have already set-in, kids are back to school, and Fall activities are in full-swing. This is when the anticipation begins to build for us all! We are looking forward to the coming Winter Season with you! Weather forecasters are starting to kick around the idea of a colder and drier Winter - we’ll take it - considering we will provide the moisture needed for snowmaking. Just as long as we have cooler temps we are good to go! Generally snowmaking begins anytime around Thanksgiving if temps drop around 29F for extended hours. Please stay with us this Pre-Season and keep an eye on our Calendar to join us for Events leading-up to our 65th Season of 2025-’26.

The Carnival offers everything from spectating to racing, brats and beer.

Ohio’s premier resort for skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing will host the 59th Annual Ski Carnival February 22nd and 23rd. The weekend festivities have been celebrated since the very first season in 1961-‘62 at Snow Trails.

Normal Lift Ticket Hours & Rates for skiing and snowboarding, as well as Normal Tubing Hours & Rates in Vertical Descent Tubing Park all weekend. Although the events and features are designed to add excitement and fun to the weekend, all are welcome to come and enjoy the resort whether you participate in events or not. The Annual Ski Carnival at Snow Trails has become a reunion for many over the years.

There is something for everyone, from the Nesquik Kids Challenge, to the famous Bikini and Chippendale Slalom races, plus the Skier/Boarder Cross Race and a crowd and participant favorite the Slush Cup! Two events will take place in the Tubing Park, including the ever popular Cardboard Creation Race and Tubing Bobsled Race.

The slopes and parks will attract many, and the Carnival even more, as Snow Trails gears up for an expected 5,000 visitors. The area will be open from 9:00AM- 9:00PM for regular skiing and snowboarding as well as tubing throughout the weekend.

Access for the Band: Shucking Bubba Deluxe on Carnival Saturday is $10.00. Pre-sale is available online only to guarantee your admission starting on February 10th.  At the door access is free for Passholders  but admission is not guaranteed if the show is sold-out… so buy early as numbers are limited! It does sell-out!
