Progression and Alpine Terrain Park Excavating - grading and contouring
With excavation we brought up the low side of the hill to provide a more natural fall line for feature placement and usability. By accomplishing this with fill dirt scraped from the roll further down Alpine Trail, it will dedicate snow to feature builds rather than simply filling-in low areas. Win. Win!
New Alpine Rope Tow - 450' Uphill - Sun Kid Swiss Cord Rope Tow
Last Season The Woods Rope Tow was our first to service Terrain Parks here at Snow Trails and was appreciated not only by users, but by those in shorter lift lines at Alpine and West Woods Triple Chairlifts. Being so well received, we began to plan how we could add a second Rope Tow to our Beginner and Intermediate Terrain Parks. What you are seeing is the result of a Team effort here, to continue providing not only Terrain Park skiers and riders with an outlet to amp progression, but a dedication to the overall Guest Experience for everyone. Now the only two Rope Tows available to you in Ohio are right here at Snow Trails, with Alpine Rope Tow taking you uphill 450' and serving Progression and Alpine Terrain Parks, while The Woods Rope Tow pulls you 600' uphill in our most advanced Terrain Park, The Woods Terrain Park. Both allowing quick access to hard and soft features in our Parks!
New Snow Guns (5) - 4 Tower, 1 Mobile
Our number one priority is the best snow conditions available to you in Ohio. To take advantage of extended cold snaps during Pre-Season and In-Season, along with an increase in production volumes during quick snowmaking campaigns, we've added an additional five SMI Super Pole Cat Snowmakers to our Snowmaking System. Combine these with the nine added last time around, this brings us to 14 in just the last two Seasons. We are also on a rolling 10 Snow Gun Refurbishment Campaign, to be sure we are showing some refresh love to those in our system who have worked many hours over many Snowmaking Campaigns - seen in the foreground shot of the delivery rig above.
New Pisten Bully 400 ParkPro - joining the fleet
A strong pedigree runs deep here in our Maintenance Facility, housing our fleet of Snow Groomers.
West Woods Regrade - shaved the knuckle along the path of The Woods Rope Tow
The Rope felt heavy on guests last Season. We wanted to improve this and control the grade with snow, so we scraped-down the dirt knuckle to allow the Rope to be a consistent level above the snow, reducing the downforce felt on guests while being towed uphill.
New Ski and Snowboard Equipment - boxes and boxes arrive at Rental Center
We continue to replace a selection of Ski and Snowboard Rental Equipment to offer the latest available Rental Gear.
Rental Center Parking Lot - newly paved and striped
Additional paved surfaces is always a plus, with striped parking spaces maximizing efficiencies and available space in our parking lot.
Lucky's Cafeteria Addition - new construction to expand back of house
To improve layout, for efficiencies of use and storage for our Team to serve you well during the busiest of times.
New Snow Sports Instructor Jackets - first look... Dark Green It Is!
Our Snow Sports Team Members will be looking stylish in these new Instructor Jackets with our iconic Snow Trails Snowflake on the back.

We Are Ready For Another Fun Winter Season Skiing, Snowboarding, And Snow Tubing With You!
Our typical Winter Season runs from December into March, with our goal to begin Snowmaking just as soon as temps drop below 29F for consistent periods of time overnight... hoping for around Thanksgiving time, as we head towards our 65th Winter Season of 2025-'26 with you!
