Winter Storm, Clear for Carnival!

Forecast looks great for the weekend! If you are watching the weather closely, you will find a Winter Storm Warning in effect from 9PM this evening through 4PM tomorrow. The positives, up to a foot of snow in some areas, but expect road crews to clear a path in plenty of time for you and your family to get here and enjoy our 50th Annual Winter Carnival at Snow Trails!

...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 4 PM
EST FRIDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS
EVENING TO 4 PM EST FRIDAY.

STRONG LOW PRESSURE WILL TRACK NEAR A PATH FROM CINCINNATI TO
YOUNGSTOWN TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING. SNOW WILL DEVELOP NEAR
MIDNIGHT AND COULD MIX WITH SOME SLEET OR LIGHT FREEZING RAIN
INITIALLY. THE HEAVIEST SNOW SHOULD OCCUR BETWEEN 5 AM AND 10 AM
WHEN SNOWFALL RATES COULD REACH 2 INCHES PER HOUR.

SNOWFALL AMOUNTS BY FRIDAY AFTERNOON OF 7 TO 10 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE.
A FEW LOCATIONS MAY SEE AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF A FOOT.
