Snowmaking Will Continue...

November 30, 2010

We know you are anxiously awaiting an Opening Day announcement, and your first carves of the season! The forecast following today will be much appreciated as we work to determine Opening Day at Snow Trails! Temperatures in the mid-to-lower twenties in your area means, the Possum Run Valley will be even colder, allowing for superior snowmaking capabilities! In order to build a base of snow large enough to open within a week, we would need most days to be round the clock snowmaking, avoiding anything above twenty-seven degrees Fahrenheit. Stay tuned as we welcome December and an improved snowmaking forecast!
