Group Lessons

Organized by age, ability, and number in group.
Times are approx. depending on group size. 

Our Beginner’s Area is setup with gradual grade slopes and slow-moving surface lifts to break-down fears of falling and doing too much too fast. Skiing and Snowboarding is a progression, and knowing this, your Instructor will be sensitive to your ability levels and driven by a desire to make your day most enjoyable and fun!

Q1: What types of Ski and Snowboard Lessons does Snow Trails offer?

A: We offer Group Lessons ($25/hour for ages 9+), Private Lessons ($75/hour for all ages, $65 additional hour), and Semi-Private Lessons best for Families and Groups of Friends ($110 for up to 2 people, $35 each additional). We also partner with CARV Digital Ski Coach for tech-enhanced instruction.

Q2: Do I need to make a Reservation for Group Lessons?

A: No, Reservations are not needed for Group Lessons. Lesson times are available throughout the day. Simply check-in at the Snow Sports Window in the Rental Center and join the next available session for your ability level.

Q3: Are Lessons available for Children Under 9yrs.?

A: Children Under 9 years of age can take Private Lessons or enroll in our all-inclusive Children's Polar Programs (ages 4-9). Group lessons are only available for ages 9 and up.

A: CARV is an innovative ski coaching technology that provides real-time feedback. Snow Trails offers CARV demos and Private Lessons with CARV-trained instructors. It's a game-changing way to improve your technique with instant analysis.

A: Check-in at the Snow Sports Window located inside the slope-side doors of the Rental Center building. Arrive 15 minutes before your Lesson time.
