FAQS

We know questions will come-up...

...as you look forward to winter fun with us, so we hope to answer most of them in our FAQ's linked above. Skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing is great for getting you outdoors for winter recreation! We’re excited for you to enjoy the fresh air and freedom the slopes provide! Very much similar to great memories you have made in seasons past, and new experiences we hope to deliver for each of you planning to visit for the first time, we are eager to deliver fun day trip getaways and an overall safe season out here for you!

Snow Trails is Ohio’s only family owned and operated resort. This makes it possible for decisions to be made quickly, in response to State and County COVID-19 mandates, to communicate this with you and keep you having the most fun possible this season!

As mandates require, we will ask for accountability in following distancing and face covering guidelines, to do all we can in offering you a fun and full season out here. The standard is six feet of distance from each other to be maintained throughout the Resort.

Indoor facilities are more restrictive for gatherings and something we will all have to adjust to. In social settings and in passing, when six feet is not naturally maintained, we ask for face coverings to be your safety measure. Adhering to indoor seating limitations, we plan to best accommodate you with Wait List Seating on the second floor of our Ski Lodge. We will also offer additional outdoor seating options, plus additional seating in a new Structural Tent adjacent to the Ski Lodge, to increase our overall seating capacity.

What is the "Fun Guarantee" Resort Credit?
Feel the confidence in committing to your Season Pass with the benefit of a Resort Credit if your health and safety become a concern or mandates alter the season and you can no longer use your 2020-'21 Season Pass. If plans change for you, we will offer you the best alternative as a credit toward a 2021-'22 Season Pass. If you request a Resort Credit (pro-rated based on 2020-'21 Pass usage) it would include credit toward your 2021-'22 Season Pass with a maximum of 80% credit prior to season opening, followed by a 10% reduction in credit per week there after beginning Sunday, December 13th 2020 and the last credit option of 10% ending February 28th.

What is the Pass Refund Option?
If a lifestyle change due to work, school, health, etc is possible then the Pass Refund Option is your insurance that you can get a refund...no questions asked. The Pass Refund Option is a way to guarantee return of your funds if for any reason you need to cancel your season pass based on usage if requested by February 28th of the same season. 100% refunded if unused or pro-rated based on usage. Must be purchased at same time as season pass.
