Mansfield, OH, March 15, 2007: Snow
Trails Winter Resort will host one final weekend, with a St. Patty's Day bash this
Saturday, March 17th from 9:00am- 9:30pm, concluding the 2006-'07
season Sunday, March 18th from 9:00am- 5:00pm. Festivities into the third weekend of March
are unusual for the resort based on its passed ten year history.
Scott
Crislip, business manager at Snow Trails said, "We were
faced with a rough start to the season, but now we've set our final day for
Sunday, March 18th, the furthest into March we've remained open in over
10 years." This makes note of the amount
of snow coverage Snow Trails maintained throughout the season. "We're going to make the most of this final
weekend, with festivities, discounted Lift Tickets, and added value Tubing
Tickets," Crislip stated. The weekend
festivities will include Irish costumes, spirits, and Shamrocks painted on the
snow, viewable from the 2,100 square-foot sun deck, where most will gather for
the atmosphere, food, and this weekend's Budweiser specials on pitchers of green
beer.
Prizes will be given for best costume,
most St. Patty's Day spirit, and the largest visible Shamrock worn. Those not participating in the categories may
have the luck of winning a prize with the day's lift ticket or tubing ticket. Many will come to Snow Trails, known for
their good times and great atmosphere associated with skiing, boarding, and
tubing.
The second day of the weekend and
the final day for the 2006-'07 season offers discounted Lift Tickets for $20, 13
years old and over, and $10, 12 years old and under. A savings of $19 per ticket based on regular
weekend rates.
