SNOW TRAILS ANNOUNCES WANTED VIDEO CONTEST

Snow Trails Winter Resort announced today a unique and exciting idea for terrain park enthusiasts everywhere. January 1, 2006 kicks off a two month online contest to find the most popular park video, to include specific features in the Sobe- No Fear Terrain Park, at the snowtrails.com web site– bi-weekly prizes for the videographer and trickier, in both skiing and snowboarding categories, shooting for a best video final prize of a $400 gift certificate to The Snow Trails Ski Shop for the skier and the same for the snowboarder from Sunsports Snowboard Shop.

Mansfield, OH, January 1, 2006: This winter, Snow Trails Ski Resort is taking it "live" with a video contest! They are challenging both skiers and snowboarders to show off their terrain park skills in combination the talents of their videographer on www.snowtrails.com starting January 1, 2006.  

The Western-Style themed “Wanted” Video Contest is being launched in conjunction with just being named one of the Top Four Parks in the Mid-West, according to FREESKIER Magazine.  The new, Snow Trails website, makes it easy to register (be deputized), submit, and even vote for the best Snow Trails contest videos.  Video’s must include the selected feature of the week and be no longer than 30 seconds.   Contestants and the general public are encouraged to check the site often to rate the best and worst videos.

The contest is free and open to anyone ready, willing, and excited to reveal their Snow Trails terrain park skills.  There will be bi-weekly winners and two overall Grand Prize winner’s picked in February for best ski and snowboard video.  Entries can be submitted through the snowtrails.com website or dropped off at either of the Contest sponsor locations: Snow Trails Winter Resort in Mansfield, OH or Sunsports Snowboard Shop in Lewis Center, OH.  For additional details, submission, and voting deadlines go to www.snowtrails.com.

Snow Trails Winter Resort has been serving Ohio since 1961. There are seven lifts serving 16 runs, including three terrain parks on 50 acres. The Resort boasts being "Ohio's first and finest" since it has a reputation of many Midwest firsts, including being Ohio's first ski area.
